Min-Joo Lee

Director of Marketing
Min-Joo is a third year pre-med student majoring in Sociology and minoring in Music History. She is originally from Colorado, where she loves to hike and snowboard in the Rockies. She first joined FISH her sophomore year and since then she has learned the beauty of serving the marginalized. Although she approached her first trip to Mexico with skepticism and fear, she returned with inspiration, excitement, and passion. She anticipates every trip to Maclovio Rojas with enthusiasm where she enjoys learning Spanish, playing with the children, gaining hands-on clinical experience, and eating some authentic Mexican food!
Outside of FISH, Min-Joo is a part of KASEO, where she tutors underprivileged children in Koreatown, and GMT (Global Medical Training), where she hopes to make a difference in underdeveloped countries. She also enjoys working as an intern at UCLA's Business of Science Center. She hopes to attend medical school to become a surgical physician. In her spare time, Min-Joo enjoys listening to music & finding new music, cooking, watching French movies, dancing with no shame, hanging out with her friends, trying new restaurants in LA, and meeting new people!
