Domestic Relations
Domestic Relations (DR) is responsible for maintaining relations with everyone in the United States. We are in charge of contacting health care professionals, such as doctors, nurses, etc. and trying to get them to help us in any way. DR is also in charge of building and strengthening relations between FISHies, by hosting Social events, such as Dinners for 8, bowling, parties, etc. DR members keep in touch with other organizations at UCLA, such as Destino and BruinHope, and collaborate with them. A new idea which is being implemented in DR, is maintaining relations with Alumni Fish and knowing what they are doing and how they can help FISH. DR signifies establishing relationships with professionals, building stronger bonds within FISH, and getting our name out in the community!
Stephanie Hallum

Director of Domestic Relations
Stephanie is a second-year MIMG major. Growing up in Chula Vista, literally minutes from the Mexican border, she was ecstatic to find an organization at UCLA that would allow her to use her passion for helping others to reach out to a culture she already knew and loved. However, her hands-on experiences in Maclovio Rojas far exceeded anything she could have imagined. As a first-time director, she is thrilled to have a greater opportunity to tap into FISH's potential for expansion.
Outside of FISH, she is beginning research at UCLA and is involved with the ALD & PES Honors Society. She hopes to attend medical school to become a Physician of Emergency Medicine. In her spare time, Stephanie loves the challenge of adapting meat-laden recipes into delicious vegetarian cuisine. She also likes playing tennis, discovering all that LA has to offer, and sampling anything and everything coffee.
