As with any non-profit organization, we are in constant need of resources to carry out our mission. In this past year, FISH has maximized limited resources for the use in our operations abroad. The majority of these funds have been used to purchase medical supplies and equipment, and for logistical purposes such as transportation, lodging, and food.

Medical Equipment

Currently, FISH has purchased various medical supplies such as stethoscopes, sphygomanometers, glucose testing kits, and dietary supplements. However, we would love to be able to utilize additional equipment, including ocular paddles and EKG machines.

Transportation

Because we travel to underserved communities in Mexico each weekend, we would greatly appreciate the use of a car, truck, or van specifically for our organization. We currently utilize the cars of our associates to transport medical supplies.

Financial Support

In order to continue and to expand our operations, we need additional resources. Although monetary support will certainly resolve this issue in the short-term, we plan to establish a trust fund to pay for such operational expenses and to subsidize the cost of trips.

Contributions to Fellowship for International Service and Health, a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible for computing and income taxes.
